Lightbox and Window Graphics for Rufford Barbershop
A black illuminated box over the entrance, and nearly all the information on the glass: the logo on the door, opening hours, a phone number, and a large silhouette that doubles as a screen between the chair and the pavement.

The shop occupies a corner unit with a lot of glass and a ramp. The sign itself was kept short: a black illuminated box over the entrance, a white bearded-silhouette logo, the name, and a line of services on the right. Everything that would not fit into one glance moved off the wall and onto the glass.
The windows do the rest. The same logo is repeated on the door at a smaller size, with opening hours and a phone number beside it, and a large silhouette sits on the blind section of glass where it doubles as a privacy screen: from the pavement you can see it is a barbershop, but not the client in the chair.
The box and the vinyl share one set of artwork and one stroke weight. It is a detail people register without noticing: when the logo on the sign and the logo on the door carry different line weights, the whole entrance starts to look assembled from spare parts.
