Signs for flower shops

TheFace builds signs for flower shops across Ukraine, turnkey: design, a 3D visualization on your facade, manufacture and installation by our own crew. So the word “Flowers” reads from the pavement by day and glows warmly in the evening, when people buy bouquets on the way home.

What we make

Signs for flower shops

People buy flowers on impulse and on emotion: someone walks past, remembers a birthday or just wants to make someone's day, and comes in the moment they can see flowers are sold here. So the sign has to name the category in a second and read from a distance — from the pavement, from a car, from the metro exit. And because so many bouquets are bought in the evening on the way home, the name has to glow just as well after dark.

A flower shop's window is bright enough on its own, full of colour and bouquets. So we make the sign complement that look rather than compete with it. For an intimate florist we use a restrained typeface and soft warm light; for a busy kiosk by the metro, brighter lettering that carries from a distance. We match the type, size and light to your facade and the angle people see you from.

  • Dimensional illuminated letters with the shop name — warm LED that reads well on an evening street
  • A facade sign with the word “Flowers” next to the name — so the category is clear from a distance, even when the name is abstract
  • A double-sided blade sign for a corner shop or a spot by the metro — seen along the street from both directions (our separate bracket-sign service)
  • Window branding on the glass — name, opening hours, flower delivery and phone
  • Non-illuminated milled letters in metal or acrylic — an understated look for intimate florists
  • Neon accents — a floral outline or slogan for a photogenic window; neon is a separate service of ours
  • A lightbox over the entrance for a bright evening glow — our separate lightbox service
How we work

The result is on us

We start with a free visit to your shop and a survey of the facade and window — we look at where passers-by see you from and how the light falls in the evening. Once you confirm the order, we prepare a 3D visualization of the sign on a photo of your actual facade, day and night, so you can see how the name glows at the hour people buy flowers, before anything is built. Then we manufacture the sign in metal, acrylic or composite and install it with our own crew of 10+ years' experience. You get a one-year warranty and ongoing service afterwards.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions

Will the sign be visible in the evening, when most flowers are bought?

Yes. We fit warm LED lighting and show your facade at night in the 3D visualization — so you can see in advance how clearly the name reads after dark, when people stop in for a bouquet on the way home.

How do I make a passer-by realise straight away that we sell flowers?

We add a clear category cue to the name — the word “Flowers” or a floral mark — and make the lettering legible from a distance and at an angle. That matters most when your name is abstract: during the survey we check where people see you from, and in 3D we show how it will read from the pavement.

We have a small shop on a corner or by the metro — what works best?

For a corner spot or a place by the metro, a double-sided blade sign works well — it's seen along the street from both directions, before people reach the door. We often pair it with a facade sign over the entrance; we'll advise what suits your spot during the free survey.

Can the sign be understated, to match our floristry, rather than a loud ad?

Yes. For intimate florists we use a clean typeface, metal or acrylic and soft warm light — so the sign sits in the same mood as the bouquets instead of shouting. Want an accent? A subtle neon outline looks great; neon is a separate service of ours.
