Halo-Lit Letters for the Vapors Store
Pink rather than white: every neighbouring unit runs cold white, and in the evening flow that difference is what people register.
The letter faces here are matte black and the backing is brushed stainless. In daylight that is enough: black on metal gives a hard silhouette and the name reads with no light at all. In the evening the same combination stops working — dark letters on a dark wall simply disappear. So an LED strip in pink sits behind each letter. The halo lands on the stainless, the metal bounces it downwards, and the lettering ends up underlined twice: by its own glow and by the reflection on the floor.
The colour is deliberately not white. The shop trades in the evening flow, and a pink halo separates it from neighbouring units, which are almost all cold white. By day the colour is invisible: the sign has two different faces, and both are on brand.
