Halo-Lit Letters for Ishchenko Studio

The returns are about six centimetres deep: less gives a hard-edged halo, more spreads it into a shapeless patch. The diamond logo hangs between the two lines so they do not merge into one bright rectangle.

Gold 3D lettering with halo lighting and a diamond logo on a beauty studio wall at night

The salon sits where people walk right up to the sign, and at that distance front-lit letters turn into blobs: the eye sees the light source instead of the shape. So this one was built as halo lighting, with the LEDs on the back of each letter washing the wall behind them.

The returns are around six centimetres deep. Less than that gives a hard-edged halo with a visible boundary; much more and the glow spreads into a shapeless patch. The colour temperature is warm, matched to the gold faces, so no second colour appears at night that was not there by day.

The diamond logo was built as a separate block with its own halo and hung between the two lines, on the centre axis. It is the only element with a coloured face, which makes it the pause between the words and stops both lines merging into a single bright rectangle.
