Evening-Lit Sign for PARK Restaurant

A restaurant earns its money after dark, so the PARK sign was designed for darkness: warm letters, a lit entrance line, and no cold glare on anyone's face.

The PARK letters glow warm, and the stylised tree standing in for the letter A was cut as its own piece so the canopy would not collapse into a triangle.

The lighting runs on two separate circuits. The letters glow evenly, with no hot spots, because the LEDs are spread across the full face instead of bunched in the middle. The entrance perimeter gets its own line of light, which pulls the timber slats and the steps out of the dark — guests can see where to walk from the car park. The colour temperature is deliberately warm. Cold white light on a facade like this reads as a pharmacy: it bleaches the timber and turns faces grey right at the door.
