A name sign over your own entrance is usually an informational sign, not outdoor advertising, so the rules are simpler. Kyiv issues no permit for one, and the notification regime that stood in place of a permit was annulled by a court with effect from 24.09.2025 — there is nowhere to file. The requirements still bind, so we check them before anything is built; in other cities we prepare and file the package under the local procedure.

It all comes down to one question: is your structure a sign or outdoor advertising. A sign is the name, logo and line of business over a company's own entrance — it tells people where to find you and runs by simpler rules. Outdoor advertising is billboards, banners, building-wall ads and structures that promote a product or brand away from your entrance. That's a different regime: a separate permit, a separate procedure and a separate fee for the space.
Even a "simple" name sign on a Ukrainian facade usually goes through a city procedure — it is just named differently in each city: an approval, the registration of a technical passport, or a letter from the architecture department. Kyiv is the exception: there is nowhere to file, because a court struck out the paragraphs that set up the notification. The requirements for the sign remain, and they are checked on the facade instead. A small plaque by the door often needs nothing at all. We handle this documentation as a standalone service: we read your case honestly, without scare tactics, and take the filing off your plate. You leave a request — we come out to the facade and look at the structure and the spot. Right there we tell you whether it's a sign or advertising and what needs approving in your case.
Sketch and photomontage
We prepare a design mockup with dimensions, photograph the facade, and drop the sketch onto the photo — so you see exactly how it will look in place.
Documents and drawing
We prepare the drawing with dimensions, fixings, illumination and materials, and gather the property documents. A placement passport where the city needs one. We'll flag anything missing so the package clears on the first try.
Filing, or a compliance check
In other cities we file the package through an administrative service centre and see it through to a decision. In Kyiv there is nowhere to file, so instead we check the structure against the rules — before anyone starts building it.
Manufacturing and installation
We build the structure to the same parameters that passed the check or the approval, and install it with our own crew — with a warranty and service afterwards.

What goes into the price of a sign
The price of a sign depends on the facade, size and material, so we don't publish a single price list. The visit, measurement and quote are free, and you get an exact figure fast.
Size and dimensions
A bigger sign means more material, fixings and hours on the install. We size the letter height to your facade width and the distance the sign has to be read from.
Materials
Metal, acrylic, composite and PVC differ in both price and lifespan. A metal sign runs higher than PVC but lasts longer; at the survey we recommend the material for your facade and weather, not for the price list.
Lighting and electrics
A non-illuminated sign costs less than a lit one: no LED modules, power supply or electrical work. Front-lit and halo-lit price separately too, and neon and lightboxes are our own offerings with their own pages.
Installation
Install cost comes down to height, how hard the access is, and the wall material — brick, plaster, composite or glass. A sign over the entrance and a structure up under the roof are very different amounts of crew work and equipment.
Approvals and permits
Some builds — blade signs over the pavement, rooftop signs, stelae on a site — need a placement approval. Where that applies, we tell you what to file and fold it into the quote.
Layout complexity
A single word prices differently from a logo with fine detail, a set of plaques or a full floor of wayfinding. The visit, measurement and quote are free, and the 3D visualization on a photo of your facade comes after you confirm the order — so the look is agreed before manufacturing.
